Lázaro García: Weaving a face in song
Presented by the Provincial Book Center of Cienfuegos. Organized by the “Florentino Morales” Center of Literary Promotion , the Association of Writers of the Branch of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba and the “Hermanos Saíz" with the purpose of recognizing and stimulating literary creation.
Called to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Tomás Terry theater, a very important cultural center in the city of Cienfuegos. The Award has been created to celebrate every year a new anniversary of its foundation. It is an encounter space for different approaches of the Cuban theater. The Terry Award was created to treasure and socialize the cultural legacy of this theater from the Cuban 19th century, as well as stimulating the historical research of personalities and events from the theater, dance and music world witnessed by this theater.
Sponsored by the Provincial Book and Literature Center. Organized by the Florentino Morales Center of Literary Promotion, the Provincial Center of Culture Houses, AHS and the branch of UNEAC in the province with the purpose of contributing to the development of literary critcs in Cuba. This national contest is opened to all Cuban authors, except for those who received an award in the two previous editions, members or nonmembers of UNEAC or AHS, having unpublished reviews based on books of Cuban authors published by Cuban publishing houses after 1990.
