Several activities to celebrate the Cuban Culture Day have been announced to be carried out in Cienfuegos
From October 10th until October 20th several activities will be carried out to celebrate this special date. According to the information released by the Provincial Culture Office in Cienfuegos, these days will be devoted to celebrate the one-hundred anniversary of José Martí and Julián del Casal´s birthdays, another anniversary of the creation of Cuba´s national anthem and the one-hundred anniversary of the Belle Arts Museum.

Juan Luis Guerra has recently released the album “Asondeguerra”, a record and DVD of great success and recorded totally alive saying that “the ebst is about to come”. He also considers that the key of his success is joy.

The mortal remain of well known local musicians have been deposited here
The mortal remains of musicians like Rafael Lay, Felito Molina and Efraín Loyola, very well known local musicians who were members of the Aragón Orchestra, have been deposited at the Tomás Acea cemetery of Cienfuegos. The Provincial Concert Band opened the tribute to them. All these important musicians of Cienfuegos have returned to ther homeland.
