The award “Poetry of Love” 2013 has been announced in Cienfuegos

The research center and literary Promotion “Florentino Morales” and the writing Council of the cultural magazine Ariel, call for the contest: Award “Love Poetry”, Cienfuegos, 2013. All Cuban interested writers can compete with an unpublished poem. The text will appear under a pseudonym and can´t exceed two sheets. Next to the work and its title, the personal data of the author must be added and a brief curricular card.

Texts in Braille to be presented at the International Book Fair

The recreation center of the National Association of Blind Persons is working in the production of texts in Braille for the International Book Fair Cuba 2013 to be carried out on next month. Works like Anecdotes of Che Guevara, by Orlando Borrego, Good bye boys, by Daniel Chavarría, National Prize of Literature and one of the authors to whom the event will be devoted, Stories of Eva Luna, by Isabel Allende, and Stories of grandmother Celima, by Celima Bernal.
