Cultural program to celebrate the 56th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution in Cienfuegos city

Cienfuegos will celebrate a special cultural program to pay a tribute to the Cuban Revolution´s 56th anniversary starting on last November 30th and will end on January 6th 2015. On December 17th in a coincidence with the release of the Cuban antiterrorist fighters an event called "Reverdecer Laureles" was carried out at the provincial museum which was opened with an exhibition about the province achievements in three major fields: Education, health and culture.

"Being in Cienfuegos is adding another medal to my lapel"

This is what the Salvadorian singer-songwriter Álvaro Torres said during a press conference at Hotel Encanto La Unión regarding his two concerts in Cienfuegos city. He said he was really excited to be here and "being in Cienfuegos is like putting another medal to my lapel". These were his words during the press conference at Hotel Encanto La Unión regarding the two concerts he offered on Sunday at the 5 de Septiembre Stadium.

Leonardo Acosta and Sergio Vitier: Music National Awards 2014

The musician and Cuban research Leonardo Acosta was presented the Music National Award along with Sergio Vitier whom he considers a brother. "This award is a little heavy for me, it is not easy to be selected among so many goo musicians, but I´m glad to share it with Sergio. He is like a brother to me", the saxophone player said in an exclusive interview to Prensa Latina.
