Priests from the Cuban Yoruba Cultural Association revealed the year´s predictions according to the Ifa oracle, an Afro Cuban divinatory system. According to the prediction under the sign of Otura Sa Cubans should take more care of their spiritual life this year, as well as increase the hygiene levels and respect habits and costumes that make possible to have a healthier life. 

 The National Council of Plastic Arts (CNAP), after long talks with Tania Bruguera has decided to maintain its decision of not supporting her project "Tatlin´s whisper" which has been promoted by this artist through the platform "Yo también exijo". According to the current circumstances it is unacceptable to carry out such performance at a symbolic place as Plaza de la Revolución, taking into account the wide cover it has received from counterrevolutionary means.

The famous cabaret Tropicana celebrated its 75th anniversary on December 31st. This cabaret has a long celebrity tradition, color and it is Havana´s main cabaret. His stage witnessed the work by Cuban and international stars including Rita Montaner and Ignacio Villa "Bola de Nieve".  Other major personalities were the star Josephine Baker with her hip movement and her waving steps that were taken from that moment on as the lead for the dance team and Tropicana´s extras.
