Vladimir Malakhov calls to the International Dance Contest in Cuba

One of the international ballet stars the Ukrainian dancer Vladimir Malakhov has called in Cuba to the 2nd edition of the North Atlantic International Contest. according to a press release by the artist.  The event will be hosted by the Cuban province of Holguín from September 20th to 30th, sponsored by the local dance company Codanza.

Cumanayagua hosted the 3rd Theater Encounter "PLAY-BACK 2015"

From January 25th to 31 Cumanayagua hosted the 3rd Theater Encounter "PLAY-BACK 2015" sponsored by the theater group Teatro de Los Elementos, directed by José Oriol González.  The programme of activities included exchanges with theater professionals, workshops and artistic presentations in several spaces like the Carlos Roloff high school, the cultural community El Jobero, Cienfuegos´ Royal Dock and UNEAC in Cumanayagua.

A tribute to José Martí by Trazos Libres

Once again Cienfuegos has decorated the Castillo street between Cid and O´Donell so that it would be the location to pay a tribute to our national hero, José Martí in his 162nd anniversary.  The cultural project "Trazos Libres" has its headquarters there and its leader painter Santiago Hermes whose plastic work reflects themes related to negritude and slavery, as well as its conceptualization. He made a performance on the street, which was the first circle by "Rumba Libre" in 2015.
