Lost & Found, Buena Vista Social Club´s new album
According to The Guardian, the Cuban musical project Buena Vista Social Club has finished "Lost & Found", a new album with non published themes recorded by its members. This group of experiences performers was grouped in 1997 by Marcos González and launched by the British producer Ry Cooder. The group announced its separation last year but they are still working.

A farewell to Celina, the queen of the "punto cubano"
A significant loss for the Cuban culture. A deep sadness for Cubans and for the whole world. Celina González Zamora has died, a very important personality born in Matanzas, and who would celebrate its 86th anniversary on March. Body attrition stopped her heart. Since she was very young she knew what her destiny would be. "The dimension of the work of this woman sums up her inspiration and actions, her temper and her intelligence". Her work was recognized when she was alive. She received the National Music Award, the Cubadisco award, the Fernando Ortíz Award and many others.

The Cuban National Ballet offered a gala to celebrate the Tomás Terry theater´s 125th anniversary
As part of the celebrations Cienfuegos city hosted the theoretical-research encounter called "El Apuntador". The gala to celebrate the Terry´s 125th anniversary is conceived to be carried out on February 12th with members from the Cuban National Ballet. A very important personality of the Cuban music has been also invited to the gala, the musician Frank Fernández, as well as the local musicians Lázaro García, the Novo brothers, the Litz Alfonso ballet, Kfé Mezclado and the Canadian piano player Mary Kennedy (who will offer a solo concert on February 15th). There will be also other participants during this celebration.
