La Marca is a new gallery that has been opened in Old Havana proposing body decoration from the individual identity and the purpose of every person. The proposals by young artists Carlos Lázaro Cárdenas, Claudio Sotolongo,Dunier del Dago, Edel Mola, Eduardo Muñoz Bach, Giselle Monzón, Nelson Ponce, Pepe Menéndez, Raupa and Robertiko Ramos have been exhibited by the exhibition entitled "El dulde olor", cured by Pepe Menéndez and Damián Viñuela. 

 They propose tattoos that can be negotiated with the tattoo makers based on the inspiration by Cuban iconic cultural posters so visitors can have in their skins an original, unique master piece that goes with their own personality. This new space in Havana will not only be devoted to this but it also wishes to include any kind of expression related to personal image.

This could include body painting, make up, body imprinting, the items selected by every person to create its own social image or any other way human beings want to use to design the way they want to see themselves and they way they want other to see them. This space will have a programme of activities to be changed every month. La Marca wishes to make a unique mark out of Cuban tattoos as long as they finance community and sociocultural activities.  

It will be also a place for creative workshops with children, a space for book presentations, film screenings and a library devoted to free consults on graphic arts, drawing and tattooing.
