The National Council of Plastic Arts (CNAP), after long talks with Tania Bruguera has decided to maintain its decision of not supporting her project "Tatlin´s whisper" which has been promoted by this artist through the platform "Yo también exijo". According to the current circumstances it is unacceptable to carry out such performance at a symbolic place as Plaza de la Revolución, taking into account the wide cover it has received from counterrevolutionary means.

The CNAP has proposed to her several alternatives and principles from which such action could be carried out. Such alternatives are: moving the performance from Plaza de la Revolución to any prestigious cultural institution taking into account that it is an art activity and so it should be showed in a cultural space and the selected space should be opened to any person. However, it reserves the right not to admit people that come for provocation or to generate conflicts that put into risk the creation freedom of our institutions. And last, the performance´s duration can not be illimitable. It should have an extension of one hour and 30 minutes so that the people that participate can express their opinions and proposals. Unfortunately, the artist declined to accept these principles.
