Cienfuegos will celebrate a special cultural program to pay a tribute to the Cuban Revolution´s 56th anniversary starting on last November 30th and will end on January 6th 2015. On December 17th in a coincidence with the release of the Cuban antiterrorist fighters an event called "Reverdecer Laureles" was carried out at the provincial museum which was opened with an exhibition about the province achievements in three major fields: Education, health and culture.

 This time there was a special recognition to three personalities that have left a deep mark in the development of the province Dr Alfredo Espinosa (an outstanding personality in local and Cuban medicine and education) He is a medicine doctor and 2nd Degree specialist in Internal Medicine. Senior professor at the ACC, senior professor and consultant professor of Internal Medicine at the Dr. Gustavo Aldereguía Lima University Hospital), to Rafael Goytisolo (an outstanding teacher and coordinator of the Master Studies in Applied Mechanics who has delivered more than 70 predegree courses in Cuban and Colombian universities, and Josefa Cosme (Fifi, poetess, narrator, playwright and researcher) She is also a children writer and founder of the Arlequín group.

There was emotion all the time in an encounter with different Arlequín generation with its founder Fifi Cosme and the poem elocution by professor Goytosolo and the performance by Dr Espinosa and the rest of the song Luna Cienfueguera by José Ramón Muñiz which is considered to be the local anthem by many people.
