The steps and accents that define the aesthetic conceptions of this group from Cienfuegos that since 15 years ago musically assumed the congo, yoruba, conga, rumba and popular rhythms. Tataero y su Ganga, a member of the "Rafael Lay" Marketing and Show Enterprise celebrates its new anniversary in several communities of the province. This time the company performed at the headquarters of Trazos Libres, a sociocultural project. Both groups are distinguished by their intersectorial approach and the defense of rumba as an indispensable element of the nation´s heritage and as a legacy by the African culture in Cuba.
Other groups like Perla del Caribe, Obinisa Aché, dance couples from Wilfredo Figueredo´s Company, from the Benjamín Duarte Culture House and Trinidad´s Folklore Ballet gathered to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Tataero y su Ganga, a group directed by Héctor Luis Hidalgo. This group is also included in national events devoted to this genre as PerCuba, the Caribbean´s International Festival and Timbalaye. It is a group characterized by its performances in local stages.
The audience enjoys their movements and rhythm due to their significance for our culture and history.
