"Tataero y su Ganga" celebrated its 15th anniversary with presentations in several communities in Cienfuegos province

The steps and accents that define the aesthetic conceptions of this group from Cienfuegos that since 15 years ago musically assumed the congo, yoruba, conga, rumba and popular rhythms. Tataero y su Ganga, a member of the "Rafael Lay" Marketing and Show Enterprise celebrates its new anniversary in several communities of the province. This time the company performed at the headquarters of Trazos Libres, a sociocultural project. Both groups are distinguished by their intersectorial approach and the defense of rumba as an indispensable element of the nation´s heritage and as a legacy by the African culture in Cuba.

Other groups like Perla del Caribe, Obinisa Aché, dance couples from Wilfredo Figueredo´s Company, from the Benjamín Duarte Culture House and Trinidad´s Folklore Ballet gathered to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Tataero y su Ganga, a group directed by Héctor Luis Hidalgo. This group is also included in national events devoted to this genre as PerCuba, the Caribbean´s International Festival and Timbalaye. It is a group characterized by its performances in local stages. 

The audience enjoys their movements and rhythm due to their significance for our culture and history.
