The Reina del Mar Award 2014 - a national contest - will be carried out this week-end and it is sponsored by the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS) and it will count with the presence of outstanding Cuban young writers. Before arriving to the event´s climax - the presentation of the Reina del Mar National Poetry Award on Sunday 16th - the websites Isliada and La Luz managed by intellectuals like Rafael Grillo and Camilo Noa will be presented on Saturday.  

Poets like Soleida Ríos, Alberto Marrero, Yansy Sánchez, Zulema L. Gutiérrez, Idiel García, Yanarys Valdivia, Diana Ortega and Ariel López Homes will offer a poetry reading on Friday. In addition some poem collections like La Maestranza, by Oscar Cruz; La gran arquitecta, by Legna Rodríguez; Algo aquí se descompone, by Katherine Bisquet and El reino de las leves criaturas,by Maylan Álvarez.
