Starting in July, a series of audiobooks will be available to the public consisting of the stories collected in the children's books Contar y cantar, a proposal by Ediciones Icaic, in partnership with Animados Icaic.

Contar y cantar is a literary delivery consisting of seven volumes with stories inspired by Cuban video clips, produced for children by Animados Icaic.

In this regard, the Cubacine portal has published that the project will start with the compilation of all the stories of El Capitán Plin, in a special edition, as a tribute to the 40th anniversary of the creation of this character by renowned cartoonist Jorge Oliver.

According to Cubacine, seven other proposals will be published, corresponding to the number of volumes, but not including the stories of the main character of La isla del coco, so that, as of July, all the stories of a book that also intends to include the video clips that inspired each of his stories will be present in the Cuban cultural panorama, in a different modality.
