Sweet dry corn flour

Preparation:

1.Wash and rinse the corn flour.

2.Cook it with water, salt, cinnamon and some anise until it is thick.

3.Add some sugar, milk and butter. Cook to low fire and stir until it gets thicker.

4.Add some raisins and cook some minutes more.

5.Remove from the fire until it loses the steam.

6.Pour in a candy jar. Sprinkle with some cinnamon.

 

Basic sponge-cake recipe

Preparation:

1.Soften the butter with a wooden spoon or spatula.

2.Add some sugar gradually. Keep stirring.

3.Add the eggs one by one without whipping, do it after adding the eggs.

4.Add the vanilla extract.

5.Sift the flour along with the rest of the dry ingredients. Add them alternating the milk to the first mixture.

6.Cook in a greased mold in the oven to medium temperature during one hour or in two mold during 25 minutes.

Custard

Preparation:

1.Boil some milk with a lemon skin and some cinnamon.

2.Add some sugar. Stir until it dissolves.

3.Apart from this in some milk, dissolve the cornstarch and mix it with shaken yolks. Add the milk gradually and put it to low fire. Stir until it curdles.

4.Remove from the heat and add the vanilla. Keep stirring.

5.Let it refresh. Pour it into a candy jar and sprinkle it with some cinnamon.

Banana ice cream

Preparation:

1.Mix the water, sugar, sweetened ginger and a lemon peel in a thick frying pan. Boil the mixture until it gets thicker and looks like a syrup. Let it refresh.

2.Peel the bananas and chop them. Add them to the syrup. Add the lemon juice while stirring. Make a purée out of the mixture in a food processor. Add more lemon or sugar according to your taste.

3.Put the mixture in a freezer according to the manufacture´s instructions.
