NARRATIVE WORKSHOP

OCTOBER 2015 

The workshop is a space of reflection and interchange among local narrators and guests, for the sake of hierarchizing the local narration, that in the last years has been well recognized by provincial, national and international publishing houses. It tries to develop encounters that identify their diversity and strength in the Cuban narrative panorama, and where a province city manages to insert a hard and varied movement.

PRINT FAIR

Its purpose is to show to the development of engraving in Cienfuegos from a programming of personal and collective Exhibitions of the artists of the territory and other invited national personalities. It is an opportunity so that the local public that loves this art can buy engravings in national currency.

SAMUEL FEIJÓO NATIONAL COLLOQUIUM

Celebrated from April 8th to 9th, in the occasion of the centenary of the intellectual from Villa Clara, who was born on March 31st 1914 in San Juan de los Yeras, but whose life was very bound to Cienfuegos, where he lived from 1935 and stayed for more than 37 years.  

Called by the Provincial Culture Department, the Provincial Library, UNEAC, the  Samuel Feijóo Anthropology Chair at Carlos Rafael Rodriguez University and the Jose Martí Cultural Society in Cienfuegos.
