A study in children demonstrated that chilren having a musical education of 3 years and more, have an increase in their motricity, as well as in auditory discrimination (this is indispensable for the study of languages different from the mother tongue). Also those children presented a better vocabulary, better abilities in their nonverbal language and their understanding of the visual reconnaissance, distinguishing with greater facility the similarities, the differences of forms and the patterns.

Music not so beneficial

However, after reviewing some benefits of music and how it stimulates our body, it is also true that music can affect to us in a negative form. And it is that the music that we do not like generates stress, the volume to which it is listened affects the benefits of music, if it is very high, can also can generate anxiety. We know as well of some cases in which music has been used as a way of torture and it is that the emotional to which it is connected is really powerful, as well as the attention level that requires, and it can literally, torn us into pieces if it is used for these intentions.

Finally, have you had an "ear worm”? It is a disastrous situation in which you cannot take away a melody from you, and which has been also a target of study by scientists.
